making a rumpus with ukulele
We are a group of enthusiastic players who just love the ukulele. We now have in excess of 80 members who enjoy gigging, busking and spreading the love of ukulele to entertain and raise money for our chosen charities, Young Lives vs Cancer; Children With Cancer uk and The Sick Children’s Trust. Last year 2022 we raised over £3500.
Our ages from 60+ to 88 years and our repertoire reflects this span of years.
Our main aim is to enjoy ourselves and have fun. We don’t take anything too seriously but play everything with youthful enthusiasm.
We are happy for anyone to attend our sessions, whether a seasoned player or new to ukulele. We also have sessions for absolute beginners. Please contact us for further information.
